Is a traditional English hostelry in the heart of the beautiful village of Great Cheverell. We boast excellent four star accommodation, a olde worlde restaurant ( which oozes with charm!) and a “locals bar” served with fine local ales from local brewers which inclues Plain Ales and Wadworth where in the winter months you could sit in our rocking chairs next to a roaring log fire.
At the rear of The Bell is a sunny secluded garden ideal to sit and enjoy one of our famous ploughmans lunches, a glass of wine or just a cold beer! We welcome children and (well behaved!) dogs.
We have a varied wine list, and our food menus have fresh meat , fish and vegetables all sourced from good local suppliers.
The Bell is a ideal base for many of Wiltshires attractions which include Stonehenge, Avebury, The White Horse, Stourhead, Longleat, Lacock, Caen Hill Locks, Bath and Salisbury and many more. You can keep up to date by checking out our News & Events page
